blb-alloy-cup-self-extracting-crank-bolts
BLB Alloy Cup Crank Bolts

A small detail that contributes more to the overall look than you might initially expect. BLB Alloy Cup Crank Bolts are crank arm bolts with separate dust caps, designed as a neat finishing touch for a classic square-taper crankset and as replacements when the original bolts or caps start to look worn.

The crank arm bolt is tightened with an 8 mm hex key, while the dust cap uses a 10 mm hex key. The cap covers the bolt and creates a cleaner finish around the crank axle, while the different colors make it possible to pick up a detail from the rest of the build.

This is not a self-extracting solution. The dust cap should not be considered an integrated crank puller, so when removing the crankset, use the method appropriate for your particular crankset. Also check compatibility with your cranks before ordering, as BLB does not specify a universal thread standard for all cranksets.

Sold as a pair, meaning one bolt and dust cap for each crank arm. A good choice when you want to replace worn original parts or simply give a fixed gear, single speed, or custom build a more considered finishing touch.

Quick facts

Type: Crank arm bolts with dust caps

Quantity: 1 pair

Tool for crank arm bolt: 8 mm hex key

Tool for dust cap: 10 mm hex key

Function: Secures the crank arm and covers the bolt with a separate dust cap

Self-extracting: No

Fits: Compatible cranksets with the corresponding mounting interface

Check before purchase: Thread and compatibility with your crankset
