UrbanBikeWear.com started 2013 in Johan’s bedroom with a smaller selection of bicycle clothes and commuting bags. From the beginning UBW’s concept has been to carefully select products from the big global market to find brands with a lot of heart. Our ambition is to be your niche bicycle shop where you can feel at ease with our products, chosen just for you. Today we have a wide range of cycling clothes and bags from Chrome Industries, Bagaboo, PEdALED, Endura, Vaude, Swrve to name a few. Brands that fulfill our demand for quality and provide excellent performance for equally high performing cyclists around the globe.

Our focus areas are Fixed gear, Single speed, Road, Gravel and Bikepacking. The latter is a segment we are a little bit extra found of; hence we will gladly help you find the correct bike, bags and all the equipment you need for the next bikepacking adventure. For the urban fixed gear and single speed cyclist we have plenty of messenger bags and clothing that can withstand a lot of rough use.

When we opened the physical shop “Urban Bike Wear & The Mechanics” In 2015 we started working with bicycle manufacturers such as Cinelli, Genesis Bikes, Brother Cycles, Surly, Schindelhauer, Bombtrack, Salsa and others. Both regarding their quality and general attitude towards cycling as something fun. On Tjärhovsgatan 14 we got a larger space to work with, so we started to fill it up by importing Chris King, Runwell, Izumi, Vision, Nitto, HED, Apidura, Restrap and other more niche brands that we adore.
