Chrome Merino Crew socks are merino wool socks for cycling and everyday wear when temperatures start to drop. The merino wool helps regulate temperature and wick away moisture, making them considerably more comfortable than ordinary cotton socks on chilly commuting mornings, longer bike rides, and days when you end up staying outside longer than planned.
For the Grey/Red Stripe version, the merino wool is blended with nylon and polyester for improved durability and shape retention, while a small amount of spandex helps the sock stay securely in place on your foot. The construction is seamless to reduce irritation and provide better comfort throughout a full day in cycling shoes or regular sneakers.
The fit is a classic crew height that reaches partway up the calf. The grey base with red stripes, a red toe, and a red heel gives them a distinctive Chrome look without making them feel like dedicated racing socks. Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
