The Cinelli Hobootleg Red Right Hand is a sturdy touring bike for those who want to load up, ride long distances, and trust that the bike is easy to understand even when far from home.
Hobootleg is not a gravel bike that happens to have space for bags. It was designed with long-distance touring in mind, based on Cinelli’s experience from the Tour d’Afrique and later proven when Paola Gianotti cycled around the world on a Hobootleg in 144 days.
The frame is made of Columbus Cromor steel, with external cable routing, bar-end shifters, and a wide 3x9 drivetrain, which says a lot about the bike’s personality. This is technology chosen to work, last, and be manageable on the road – not to win a specs competition.
The 36-spoke wheels and WTB Riddler 37 mm tires provide a stable foundation for asphalt, gravel, and rougher roads with luggage. The cantilever brakes also fit the same philosophy: simple, mechanical, and understandable.

Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
