BLB Track Crankset

BLB Track is a crankset that does the job without emptying your wallet. A classic look with a square-taper bottom bracket; we recommend the Tange LN-3922 107 mm, which pairs perfectly with the crankset. If you don't already have them lying around, you can find M8 crank bolts here!

BLB Track is a fixed gear and single speed crankset that gets the job done without costing a fortune. Made by Andel for Brick Lane Bikes, it has a simple, classic design that works just as well on a clean track build as on a fixed gear bike ridden every day.

The 165 mm crank arms are made of aluminum, a common length for fixed gear bikes because it provides a little extra clearance between the pedal and the ground. The CNC-machined 1/8-inch chainring is available with 46, 47, or 48 teeth, so you can choose the gearing to suit how and where you ride.

An important detail is that BLB Track uses a 130 mm BCD, not the 144 mm standard found on many more traditional track cranksets. If you want to replace the chainring later, make sure to choose a 1/8-inch chainring with a 130 BCD. The crankset fits a JIS square-taper bottom bracket with a 107 mm spindle; we usually pair it with the Tange LN-3922 107 mm.

This isn't the crankset for someone building a pure race bike and chasing the lowest weight or 144 BCD. It's a sensible choice if you want an affordable fixed gear crankset with 165 mm crank arms, a replaceable chainring, and a proven square-taper interface. The bottom bracket and crank bolts are not included.
