BLB Track Crankset
Hurry up, only 1 item left in stock.
BLB Track is a crankset that gets the job done without draining your savings. Its classic look uses a square-taper bottom bracket; we recommend the Tange LN-3922 107 mm, which pairs perfectly with the crankset. If you don't already have them lying around, you can find M8 crank bolts from us!
BLB Track is a crankset for fixed gear and single speed that gets the job done without the price getting out of hand. It is made by Andel for Brick Lane Bikes and has a simple, classic shape that works just as well on a clean track build as on a fixed gear bike used every day.
The crank arms are 165 mm long and made of aluminium, a common length for fixed gear because it provides a little extra clearance between the pedal and the ground. The CNC-machined 1/8-inch chainring is available with 46, 47, or 48 teeth, so you can choose the gearing based on how and where you ride.
An important detail is that BLB Track uses a 130 mm BCD, not the 144 mm standard common on many more traditional track cranksets. If you want to change the chainring later, you will therefore need to choose a 1/8-inch chainring with a 130 BCD. The crankset mounts to a JIS square-taper bottom bracket with a 107 mm axle; we usually use the Tange LN-3922 107 mm with it.
This is not the crankset for someone building a pure race bike and chasing the lowest weight or a 144 BCD. It is a sensible choice when you want an affordable fixed gear crankset with 165 mm cranks, a replaceable chainring, and a proven square-taper interface. The bottom bracket and crank bolts are not included.

Build your custom dream bicycle with us
Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
