Brother Cycles Mehteh - Stealth Black - Frames
Available in stock
Brother Cycles Mehteh is a steel frameset for anyone who wants a fast Gravel bike while still being able to choose larger tires and venture onto considerably rougher terrain than with a traditional all-road bike. It is built for long days in the saddle, bikepacking, and Gravel where the road can happily turn into something that can barely still be called a road. Stealth Black keeps the look fairly understated—until you get close and notice Brothers’ gold-colored details.
The frame is made from heat-treated Reynolds 725 steel with double-butted tubes in the main triangle. The geometry is designed for drop bars and combines a relatively quick feel with stability when the terrain gets rougher or the bike is loaded for longer trips. Tire clearance is generous: up to 700 × 50 mm or 650B × 2.2". This is a major part of the Mehteh’s identity and places it somewhere between a classic Gravel bike and a considerably more off-road-capable drop-bar bike.
The latest version has UDH-compatible rear dropouts. This means you can build it with a conventional rear derailleur or use SRAM’s Full Mount derailleurs. The rear uses a 12 × 142 mm thru-axle and the front a 12 × 100 mm thru-axle. The brakes are flat mount, and the frame is built around a standard threaded 68 mm bottom bracket shell, keeping several of the most important standards simple and well proven.
The included Brother Carbon Gravel Fork is made entirely from carbon fiber and has three mounting points on each fork leg, fender mounts, and internal cable routing for dynamo lighting. The fork’s flip-chip also makes it possible to change the offset between 47 and 52 mm. The frame has three sets of bottle-cage mounts in all sizes, as well as mounts for a rear rack and fenders. This makes the Mehteh equally relevant for a light and fast Gravel build or a bike intended to be packed for several days.
The name Mehteh comes from the Himalayas and refers to the Yeti—a fitting name for a Gravel frame that is happy to leave the smooth gravel roads behind. Compared with the Brother Kepler, the Mehteh is the choice when you want more tire volume, more capability on rough terrain, and greater possibilities for building a bikepacking setup, without going all the way to a mountain bike.
