Endura GV500 Waterproof Shorts, Anthracite

Endura GV500 Waterproof Short is a pair of lightweight, waterproof rain shorts for gravel, bikepacking, and long-distance cycling. They also work great for commuting by bike when the weather is unpredictable and you want to protect your seat and thighs from rain and road spray without pulling on a pair of full-length rain pants.

The key is Endura’s ExoShell40, a lightweight, 3-layer waterproof fabric with very high breathability. Fully taped seams keep moisture out, while an extra-durable seat panel protects the area where cycling typically causes the most wear on waterproof membranes. It’s a technically challenging combination of low weight, water protection, and ventilation - but we think Endura has done a great job.

The shorts pack down small and are easy to stow in a frame bag or saddlebag when the rain lets up. An elastic waist with an adjustable shock cord keeps them in place, and Clickfast compatibility means they can be paired with Endura liner shorts. A really good shell garment for gravel and bikepacking when the forecast says maybe.
