Vagabond is a monstercross bike in the broadest sense of the word; the love child of a road bike and a mountain bike, a "frankenbike" that has long been a staple for home mechanics, the result of many experimental "I wonder if..." parts-bin builds. The late Steve Worland summed them up nicely as "...the perfect cross-dresser for long, steady rides that cover a bit of everything." Tourer, commuter, rough-road bike - Vagabond takes on most disciplines with little more than a simple tire change. On the Vagabond 10 model, you ride with Microshift's Sword drivetrain, an up-and-comer among the big manufacturers: simple, durable, easy-pedaling gears for steep trails on long adventures.
