Genesis Vagabond is a monstercross bike in the broadest sense of the word - the illegitimate love child of a road bike and a mountain bike. A frankenbike in the best sense, born from spare parts bins, a spirit of experimentation, and the eternal question: “I wonder if this would work?”

This is monster gravel’s answer to the Hulk, with seemingly limitless strength and an indefatigable drive forward. A tire swap can change its character, but the basic idea remains the same: a bike that doesn’t let the terrain decide where the ride goes.

The Vagabond 20 is equipped with a 12-speed SRAM Apex drivetrain that pairs Apex XPLR shifters with an Apex Eagle rear derailleur and an 11–50 cassette. The wide gear range is suited to steep climbs, loose terrain, and riding with a loaded bike. Hydraulic disc brakes and 2.35-inch-wide Maxxis Ikon tires offer control when the gravel road turns into a trail or simply stops being a road.

The Genesis Vagabond 20 is for anyone looking for a steel bike for monstercross, touring, bikepacking, and everyday riding - and who prefers a bike that leaves room for personal ideas, even the ones others couldn’t have imagined.
