MKS Crank Spacers are thin steel washers that fit between the pedal spindle and the crank arm. They help protect the crank arm’s surface from marks and damage when tightening the pedal - especially useful on carbon cranks or cranks with a recessed contact surface.
A small, inexpensive detail that we like to use on aluminum cranks, too. The washer provides an even contact surface for the pedal spindle and can reduce the risk of the pedal working directly against or marking the crank arm during installation.
Made of steel by MKS in Japan and supplied in packs of four.
