The Granola Bar from Velo Orange is a modern take on a traditional city and touring handlebar. The width is a comfortable 650 mm with a generous 30 mm rise. Combined with a 60-degree sweep back, you get a fairly upright position with plenty of control when the terrain gets rougher and the speed increases. The grip area is 180 mm, which is more than enough for grips, brake levers, and shifters in modern sizes. Because the handlebar has so much sweep back, we recommend a longer stem than you would normally use for MTB and road handlebars; a shorter stem can result in an unstable bike.
