This colorful vintage cycling cap is based on the Mapei team's classic design from the 1990s. The dark blue field with the white Mapei logo is broken up by the distinctive pattern of colorful cubes across the crown and visor. It's not subtle, but that was never the intention.
Mapei competed at the highest level between 1993 and 2002 and became especially associated with the spring classics and the cobblestones of Paris–Roubaix. The team's dominance was perhaps best summarized in 1996, when Johan Museeuw, Gianluca Bortolami, and Andrea Tafi took the top three places in the race. The colorful team kit became one of professional cycling's most recognizable designs during the same period.
The short visor can be worn folded down or flipped up, and the thin construction works well under a cycling helmet. The cap is made in Italy from a blend of polyester and cotton and comes in one size that fits most.

Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
