YOKOZUNA Vintage Stainless Steel Brake Cable Housing
Low stock
We like Japan, and we like Japanese bicycle components. YOKOZUNA has been manufacturing housings and cables in Narashino for decades. Vintage is their stainless steel brake housing with a 5 mm outer diameter. The transparent plastic coating lets the steel show through, both in the clear version and in the color variants.
Spiral-wound steel provides the classic look, while a plastic inner liner helps the cable run smoothly. With the housing routed correctly, you get smoother cable movement and better feel in your cable-operated rim or disc brakes. The housing also works with friction shifters, but is not intended for indexed shifting.
