BroTector is Ass Savers’ buddy flap – an extension for the rear mudguard that above all makes life more pleasant for the person behind you. On wet roads, it reduces the amount of water and dirt that would otherwise be flung straight backwards from the wheel, making it particularly useful if you cycle in a group, commute with others or have a child in a bike trailer behind you.
It is mounted at the bottom of a standard full-length mudguard and extends the guard closer to the ground. BroTector fits standard-shaped, curved rear mudguards and works best with aluminium or steel guards. Some plastic mudguards may be harder to drill into, so check the material and construction before you begin.
Installation is simple but requires you to drill two holes in the mudguard. The holes are positioned along the guard’s centre line, 25 mm apart, and BroTector is then attached with cable ties. It can also be mounted with screws and nuts if you prefer a more permanent attachment. Mounting hardware is not included. The closer the flap sits to the ground, the better it protects, but leave enough clearance for kerbs and uneven surfaces.
BroTector is made from 80% recycled polypropylene and has pre-creased fold lines that give it greater rigidity once installed. It is a small and rather unassuming detail on the bike, but on a rainy group ride, the person riding behind you will notice the difference.

Consultatiebijeenkomst
In de eerste stap van het proces willen we graag met je bespreken wat voor soort fiets je zoekt en welk budget je hebt. Het is het beste als we hiervoor een afspraak maken, hetzij in de winkel, hetzij digitaal.
Offerte
Na betaling van een aanbetaling of aankoop van een framset sturen wij je een gedetailleerde offerte. Op dit moment is het nog steeds mogelijk om de keuze van onderdelen aan te passen.
De fiets wordt gemonteerd
Nu begint er iets te gebeuren! De offerte is vastgelegd. We bestellen onderdelen en stellen alles samen voor de bouw. Afhankelijk van je keuze van onderdelen duurt het monteren van de fiets verschillend lang, maar meestal is twee weken vanaf goedgekeurde offerte voldoende.
De fiets is klaar voor levering
Je bent welkom om je op maat gemaakte fiets op te halen. We bieden ook verzending naar alle hoeken van de wereld. Vanaf onze eerste ontmoeting hebben we je maten genomen zodat je correct op de fiets zit. Voor de aflevering doen we samen met jou kleine aanpassingen en indien gewenst leggen we uit hoe je de fiets afstelt en onderhoudt. Fijne rit! =)
