Continental Race 28 is a classic butyl inner tube for road bikes with narrower tires. It combines low weight with good puncture protection and works equally well as a regular inner tube or a spare tube in your saddle bag.
This version has a 60 mm Presta valve, also known as a racing valve. The longer valve is well suited to rims where a standard 42 mm valve is too short for the pump to connect properly. If you have very deep rims, you should still check that 60 mm provides enough valve length above the rim.
The tube is designed for tires from ETRTO 20-622 to 25-630, covering the common 700c standard as well as compatible older 630 mm / 27" sizes. Check the ETRTO marking on the sidewall of the tire if you are unsure—both the tire width and rim diameter need to match the tube’s specified dimensions.
Every Continental tube undergoes quality control before leaving the factory. Weighing approximately 100 grams, the Race 28 is a simple and reliable choice for road bikes with narrow tires.
