UrbanBikeWear.com started in December 2012 in Johan’s living room with a small selection of cycling clothes and bags for bike commuting. From the start, UBW’s concept has been to carefully select from the large market and find brands with a lot of soul. Our ambition is to be your specialised bicycle shop where you can feel confident that the range is chosen just for you.

Today we ship to customers in more than 48 countries and try to have a wide range of cycling clothes and bicycle bags from Chrome Industries, Bagaboo, Endura, Vaude, Swrve and more. Brands that meet our quality requirements and are used by high-performing cyclists all over the world.

Our focus areas are Fixed gear, Single speed, Road, Gravel and Bikepacking. The latter is a segment we are especially fond of and we are happy to help you find the right bicycle, bags or equipment for your bikepacking adventure. For the urban fixed hub and single speed cyclist, we have many courier bags/messenger bags and smart clothes that withstand great strain.

When we opened our physical bicycle shop “Urban Bike Wear & The Mechanics” in 2015, we began working with bicycle manufacturers such as Cinelli, Genesis Bikes, Brother Cycles, Surly, Bombtrack, Salsa and others. Both for their approach to quality and their focus on making cycling fun. At Tjärhovsgatan 14 we also got more space, so we began importing Chris King, Runwell, Izumi, Vision, Nitto, MKS, Dia-Compe, Grewtac, White Industries, Restrap and other more specialised brands that we love.
