If you buy a steel frame from us, we are happy to do the basic work in our bike workshop to ensure the bike’s bearings perform as they should. We use a tap in the bottom bracket shell and ream and face the head tube.
If you add a compatible headset and/or bottom bracket from us, we can install those as well. For this extra service, we use a headset press to fit the external bearing cups into the frame and, of course, the correct bottom bracket tool (if necessary).
We do not cut the fork steerer tube because different stems have different heights, known as "stack height." Ask us if you’re unsure which headset you need for your frame!

Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
