This white vintage cycling cap is a reproduction of the Molteni Arcore cap worn by Eddy Merckx in 1972. The large black and white Molteni Arcore logos cover the front and sides, the Molteni name sits above the short brim, and the world champion's colors run across the crown. Compared to the team's well-known orange kit, the design is more understated but still instantly associated with Merckx and 1970s road cycling.
Eddy Merckx rode for Molteni during some of the most successful years of his career. In the 1972 season, he won both the Giro d’Italia and Tour de France, took several of the major spring and autumn classics, and ended the year by setting a new hour record in Mexico City. It’s hard to find a cycling cap more strongly linked to a single cyclist and a single year.
The short brim can be worn folded down or flipped up, and the thin construction works well under a cycling helmet. The cap is made from a polyester and cotton blend and comes in one size that fits most.

Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
