Dia-Compe has its roots in Japanese bicycle brake manufacturing dating back to the 1930s, and since the 1980s, a large part of its business and production has been based in Taiwan. The brand is best known for brakes, brake levers, and mechanical bicycle components for fixed gear, single speed, touring, randonneur, and classic bicycle builds.
