Newbaum's Cotton Cloth Bar Tape sets the standard for classic cotton bar tape. The thin woven cotton tape provides a firm, direct grip and the distinctive feel that has made cloth bar tape popular on everything from vintage steel racers and touring bikes to modern custom builds.
The tape is made in the USA from durable woven cotton and has a self-adhesive backing that makes it easy to wrap. Newbaum's uses more environmentally friendly dyes and offers a wide selection of colors, from Natural Unbleached and classic black to Celeste/Bianchi, orange, and dark blue.
Each roll is 19 mm wide and 304 cm long. Note that most drop handlebars require two rolls. A great choice if you are looking for traditional cotton bar tape with a slim profile, good grip, and a more classic alternative to modern synthetic bar tape.

Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
