UrbanBikeWear.com started in 2013 in Johan’s living room with a small selection of cycling clothing and bags for bike commuting. From the beginning, UBW’s concept has been to carefully select from the vast market and find brands with plenty of character. Our ambition is to be your niche bike shop, where you can feel confident that the selection has been curated just for you.

Today, we offer a wide range of cycling clothing and bags from Chrome Industries, Bagaboo, Endura, Vaude, Swrve and more. Brands that meet our quality requirements and are used by high-performance cyclists all over the world.

Our focus areas are Fixed Gear, single, Road, Gravel and Bikepacking. The latter is a segment we are especially fond of, and we are happy to help you find the right bike, bags or equipment for your Bikepacking adventure. For urban fixed-gear and single cyclists, we have many messenger bags and stylish clothing that can withstand heavy use.

When we opened our physical bike shop, “Urban Bike Wear & The Mechanics,” in 2015, we began working with bike manufacturers such as Cinelli, Genesis Bikes, Brother Cycles, Surly, Bombtrack, Salsa and more. Both because of their approach to quality and their focus on making cycling fun. At Tjärhovsgatan 14, we also had more space, so we began importing Chris King, Runwell, Izumi, Vision, Nitto, HED wheels, Apidura, Restrap and other more niche brands that we love.
