BLB Narrow Wide 130 BCD 3/32" 1x Chainring
Out of stock
Are you rebuilding an iconic steel ’90s MTB, sprucing up a classic randonneur bike, or giving new life to a vintage commuter? “Restomodding” older bikes is about preserving their unique character and aesthetics while upgrading their function and reliability to modern standards.
This Narrow-Wide chainring with a 130 BCD and 3/32" width is the missing link in your build. It lets you convert your older crankset to a clean, smooth, rattle-free 1x system (a single chainring up front) without having to replace the classic crank arms.
-
Drop-stop technology (Narrow-Wide): The chainring alternates narrow and wide teeth to lock the chain securely in place. No chain guide is needed, and you’ll avoid dropped chains when the gravel gets rough, resulting in a quiet and reliable drivetrain.
-
Fits classic 130 BCD cranksets: Many older road, touring, and hybrid cranksets (as well as early MTB models) use the timeless 130 BCD bolt circle. With this chainring, you can keep the original cranks and give your bike an aggressive, modern 1x look.
-
3/32" chain compatibility: Optimized for standard chain width (3/32"), making it an excellent match for everything from classic 7-, 8-, and 9-speed chains to modern 10- and 11-speed systems.
-
Clean & minimalist design: Remove the front derailleur, extra controls, and unnecessary cables from the handlebars for a clean, pared-back look that truly highlights the frame’s lines.

Build your custom dream bicycle with us
Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
