BLB Track Chainring 1/8" 130 BCD

If you have a complete fixed gear or single speed with 130 BCD, this is one of the most common types of chainring you’ll come across. The BLB Track Chainring is a 1/8-inch chainring for 5-arm cranksets with 130 mm BCD and fits bikes such as the Cinelli Tutto Plus and Gazzetta. An easy way to replace a worn chainring without having to replace the whole crankset.

When the teeth start becoming pointed like shark teeth or are visibly worn, it’s time to replace the chainring. If it has been in use for a long time, we recommend checking the chain and rear sprocket or freewheel at the same time. These parts wear together, and a new chainring works much better when the rest of the drivetrain isn’t already on its last legs.

The chainring is made of aluminum alloy, designed for a 1/8-inch chain, and available with 46, 47, or 48 teeth. The difference between the sizes comes down to the gear ratio: 46T gives you a slightly easier gear, while 48T offers a little more resistance and speed at the same cadence. 47T falls naturally in between and is often a good way to fine-tune a gear ratio that feels almost right.

The BLB Track Chainring is above all a good choice when you already have a 130 BCD crankset and want to keep building around it. Compared with the BLB Freestyle chainring in 44T, this one offers larger chainring sizes that are closer to the gear ratio many prefer on a classic fixed gear or track-inspired bike.
