Brother Cycles Kepler is the foundation for a really great gravel or road bike. Classic good looks combined with modern geometry mean the frame can be built into anything from a fast commuter to a more relaxed road bike or a dedicated gravel bike. That versatility is Kepler’s greatest strength – a steel frame that feels equally at home on asphalt and gravel and can be built in very different ways depending on what you want to do with the bike.
In this generation, Kepler received several welcome updates. The lugged steel fork has internal dynamo-cable routing and three mounting points on each fork leg. The frame has internal rear-brake routing, an integrated seatpost clamp, a third bottle-cage position underneath the downtube, and a metal Brothers Oak Leaf badge on the head tube.
The frame is made from butted 4130 chromoly and ED-treated beneath the paint for better protection against corrosion. Kepler can be built with 700C wheels and tyres up to 45 mm wide, or 650B wheels with tyres up to 48 mm. Narrower tyres give you a fast bike for road riding and smooth gravel roads, while more tyre volume provides better grip and comfort when the surface gets rougher.
There are mounts for racks and mudguards front and rear, three bottle-cage positions on the frame, and additional mounting points on the fork. This makes Kepler just as useful as a stripped-down gravel bike as it is as a fully equipped commuter or touring bike. The Teal is Real paint fades from teal to warm grey, giving the frame a much more distinctive look than a traditional single-colour steel frame. If you want a Brother that is closer to road riding than Mehteh, while still offering room for proper gravel tyres and luggage, Kepler is the natural choice.

Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
