The Carradice Bagman Sport is a saddlebag support for small and medium-sized Carradice saddlebags up to 18 liters. It mounts directly onto the saddle rails and forms a low support bracket under the bag, keeping the load upright and away from the rear wheel. The result is less sway when riding with a loaded saddlebag on uneven roads, without needing to install a full-size rear rack.
Bagman Sport is especially suitable for day trips, commuting, and lighter touring with models like the Carradice Barley, Lowsaddle Longflap, and Super C Audax. It functions as a small rack under the saddle but is specifically designed for traditional Carradice saddlebags. The open metal frame supports the bottom of the bag and helps it maintain its shape even when the load gets heavier.
This is the standard version, which clamps onto the saddle rails and is intended to remain on the bike. The support weighs about 300 grams, can handle a maximum load of 10 kg, and measures 13 × 16 × 18 cm. The Bagman is a support under the bag, while the saddlebag itself still needs to be attached to the saddle’s bag loops or a separate solution for saddles without bag loops.
Check the space between the saddle, the support, and the rear wheel before ordering. The Carradice Bagman cannot be used with carbon fiber saddles or sprung saddles like the Brooks Flyer, as the mounting and support arms cannot be positioned correctly.
Bagman Sport is the right choice when you want a stable support for a Carradice saddlebag up to 18 liters and prefer a lower, lighter solution than the Bagman Expedition. For larger saddlebags, deeper longflap models, or volumes over 18 liters, the Expedition offers more space and a support that better matches the bag’s proportions.

Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.

After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
