Carradice Bagman Sport Saddlebag Support Rack (Standard)

Carradice Bagman Sport is a saddlebag support for small and medium-sized Carradice bags up to 18 liters. It mounts directly to the saddle rails and provides solid support underneath the bag, helping it retain its shape, sway less, and stay clear of the rear wheel when you pack a little more heavily. A good way to improve stability without installing a full-size rack.

The Sport version is particularly well suited to day rides, commuting, and light touring with bags such as the Carradice Barley, Lowsaddle Longflap, Super C Audax, and Cambrian. The support sits low and close to the saddle and is smaller than the Bagman Expedition, which is designed for larger and deeper saddlebags.

This is the Standard version and is intended to remain mounted on the bike. The Bagman clamps onto the saddle rails, while the bag itself continues to attach to the saddle's bag loops as usual. If you want to remove and reinstall the bag more quickly, the Bagman Sport is also available in a Quick Release version.

The support weighs approximately 300 grams and can carry up to 10 kg. Check the clearance between the saddle, Bagman support, and rear wheel or mudguard before ordering. The Bagman is not compatible with sprung saddles such as the Brooks Flyer and must not be mounted on saddles with carbon rails.

The Bagman Sport is the right model for a Carradice saddlebag of up to 18 liters when you want the bag to be more stable and better supported underneath. For larger models and bags over 18 liters, the Bagman Expedition is the better choice.
