CHOICE STRONG V Long Grips – Japanese Keirin grips with unexpectedly wide use
CHOICE STRONG V Long Grips come from the Japanese Keirin world and are originally made for the drop bars on velodrome bikes. You can feel it in the experience: thin, secure grip, and direct rather than soft and cushioning.
That’s exactly why they also work really well on wide flat bars, especially on fixed gear, single speed, and custom builds where you want a clean cockpit with a bit more attitude than regular standard grips. The long 175 mm shape provides plenty of grip surface.
With a 2 mm thickness and hexagon texture, you get close contact with the bar and a secure grip without the grips feeling bulky. This is not the choice for those seeking maximum gel comfort, but for those who like a more direct and mechanical feel.

Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
