Chrome Cycling Gloves - Grey/Black

Chrome Cycling Gloves are lightweight full-finger gloves for bike commuting, fixed gear, single speed, and other cycling when you want a little more grip and comfort without your hands getting too warm. That’s exactly the role they already fill for us: breathable, padded, durable cycling gloves for everyday use, rather than a pair of heavy MTB or winter gloves.

The back is made of stretchy mesh that lets heat escape, while the black synthetic leather palm is perforated and padded with EVA foam. The construction adds comfort against the handlebars and improves durability where the glove takes the most wear, while retaining a relatively thin feel so you still have good contact with the brakes and controls. On the 2.0 version, Chrome has also updated the palm construction.

The fingertips are touchscreen-compatible, which is handy when you need to check a map or your phone without taking off your gloves. The adjustable wrist strap helps keep the glove securely in place, and the Grey/Black version combines grey stretch mesh on the back with a black palm and the red details at the wrist shown in the photos.

These are primarily cycling gloves for milder and warmer weather. They provide ventilation, a little cushioning, and an extra layer between your hand and the handlebars, but no insulation for winter cycling. For daily commutes and longer rides in spring, summer, and mild fall weather, though, simplicity is the whole point.
