The Cinelli Ant Stem is a fixed-gear specific stem designed by Cinelli to meet the urban cyclist's demand for a short & responsive stem. With a length of 60 mm, it places the handlebars closer to the rider than a traditional road stem, making it ideal for builds where you want a compact riding position and a short cockpit.
The stem fits handlebars with a 31.8 mm clamp diameter and fork steerer tubes with a diameter of 28.6 mm, also known as 1 1/8 inches. It is therefore compatible with the most common modern sizes for fixed gear, single speed, and urban bikes.
The Ant is made from 6061-T6 aluminum and features a removable faceplate with four M5 bolts. The angle is 84°/96°, which corresponds to approximately +6° or −6° depending on how the stem is mounted. By flipping the stem, the handlebar position can be adjusted slightly upward or downward.

Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
