The Cinelli Chubby Ribbon is an extra thick handlebar tape for those who want more cushioning on their drop handlebars. It is especially suitable for long-distance cycling and bikepacking, where the strain on the hands becomes more noticeable after many hours on the bike.
The tape is 30 percent thicker and softer than Cinelli's classic cork tape. The larger diameter may also suit cyclists with bigger hands. However, if you prefer a narrow grip and more direct contact with the handlebars, a thinner tape is a better choice.
The black surface features embossed Cinelli logos. Two bar plugs and finishing tape are included. We ourselves prefer to use regular electrical tape for finishing, as it is easy to stretch and secure properly.

Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
