Cinelli Music Volèe takes its pattern from the guitar strap associated with blues guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan. It’s a clear musical reference for bikes where the bar tape is part of the expression, not just a wear item.
Under the graphic is Cinelli’s Volèe construction in PU, with a leather-like surface inspired by grip tape for tennis rackets. The material provides a firm, secure grip without adding unnecessary bulk around the handlebars, making it a good choice if you want clear contact with the bike rather than maximum cushioning.
The tape is 2 mm thick and 2000 mm long, which is enough for a complete drop handlebar. The combination of the relatively thin construction, high grip, and musical motif makes Music Volèe bar tape for those who want the cockpit to feel as thoughtfully considered as the rest of the build.
Two bar-end plugs and Cinelli-logo finishing tape are included. We personally prefer using regular electrical tape for finishing, as it is easy to stretch, secure properly, and replace when needed.

Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
