The Cinelli Pillar is a black seatpost made of 6061 T6 aluminum for those seeking a simple and robust component for a fixed gear, road, or urban bike build. It is available in diameters of 27.2 and 31.6 mm and features a 15 mm setback, which positions the saddle clamp slightly behind the centerline of the seatpost.
Setback affects how far forward or backward the saddle can be positioned. The Pillar is therefore well suited when you want the saddle slightly further back than with a straight seatpost. If you want to maintain your current riding position, you should compare both the diameter and setback with the seatpost already on your bike.
The saddle clamp uses two bolts, allowing you to adjust the saddle’s angle and position incrementally before tightening the bolts. The construction is made from 6061-T6 aluminum, and the black anodized finish provides a discreet look that pairs well with other black components.
The seatpost is 300 mm long and available in 27.2 and 31.6 mm diameters. The measurement refers to the seatpost diameter, not the external diameter of the seat tube.

Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.

After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
