It’s all in the details. The Cinelli Top Cap + Star Nut is a complete top cap kit for 1 1/8-inch threadless headsets and an easy way to give the stem and cockpit area a clean finish.
The top cap is used to adjust headset preload before tightening the stem. The included star nut is pressed into the steerer tube and provides a fitting point for the M6 bolt. The top cap is made of aluminum alloy and has a diameter of 32 mm.
A great choice when installing a new fork, replacing a damaged top cap, or simply adding a black Cinelli detail to your bike build.
The star nut must be installed straight and at the correct depth using the proper tool. If you do not have the tools required to install a star nut, we recommend leaving the work to a bike shop.
