Cinelli Vai is an ahead stem for 31.8 mm handlebars and fork steerer tubes with a diameter of 28.6 mm, or 1 1/8 inches. It is suitable if you are looking for a black Cinelli stem for road, gravel, fixed gear or an urban build and want a simple, understated cockpit.
The stem is 3D-forged from 6061-T6 aluminium and has a removable four-bolt faceplate. Cinelli’s wing logo is integrated into the faceplate, adding a distinctive Cinelli detail without making the design too prominent.
Vai is available in lengths from 90 to 130 mm. Stem length affects both reach and riding position, so compare it with your current stem if you want to maintain a similar position. The angle is 84°/96°, corresponding to approximately +6° or −6° depending on how the stem is installed, making it possible to position the handlebar slightly higher or lower.

Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
