Crane E-Ne SBR is a bell designed for drop handlebars. Instead of taking up space on top of the handlebar, Crane’s E-Ne sits on a metal arm that clamps directly over the handlebar tape, near the brake and shifter lever. This lets you ring to alert other road users without moving your hand far from its usual position on the levers.
The bell is made of brass and has a diameter of 37 mm. The special drop bar mount fits diameters up to 35 mm, measured where the bell is mounted, including the handlebar tape. So be sure to check the diameter of your taped handlebars before purchasing.
The E-Ne SBR is a smart choice for road, gravel and other bikes with drop handlebars where you want the bell within easy reach without cluttering the top of the handlebar. Crane makes its bells in Osaka, Japan, and this version has a discreet All Black finish.
