Dia-Compe 1245 Roller Guided Cable Bridge - Silver
Give your classic brakes a smoother action and higher precision! Dia-Compe 1245 Roller Guided Cable Bridge is a high-quality, rolling cable hanger (also called straddle cable hanger or chidori) designed to optimize cable routing for cantilever and centerpull brakes.
This rolling cable hanger is made by the Japanese Dia-Compe, a legendary manufacturer known for combining reliable retro elegance with modern function. The integrated and easy-rolling pulley ensures that the pulling force is distributed evenly between the brake arms, providing significantly improved braking performance and a more distinct feel at the brake lever.
Perfect for retro builds and Randonneur bikes
The design is inspired by classic "constructeur" bikes and is a fantastic detail for those restoring an older racer, building an elegant randonneur, touring bike, or wanting to give their cyclocross a mechanical upgrade.

Build your custom dream bicycle with us
Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
