Dia-Compe BRS100 is a black front rim-brake caliper with short reach, designed for road, single speed, and fixed gear builds. It is particularly well suited to bikes where you want a simple and discreet front brake without compromising braking power.
With a 39–49 mm reach, the BRS100 is intended for forks designed for short-reach road brakes. If you are unsure which reach you need, measure from the center of the brake bolt hole in the fork crown down to the center of the rim’s braking surface. If the measurement falls within 39–49 mm, the brake is within the correct range.
The dual-pivot design provides good braking power and a clear feel at the brake lever, while the quick-release function makes it easier to remove and install the front wheel. The brake arms are made from cold-forged aluminum, and Dia-Compe 101 brake pads are included.
