Dia-Compe BRS100 is a silver short-reach rear brake for road and single speed builds. It works especially well on bikes where silver components are part of the overall look - such as classic steel frames, retro-inspired builds or simple custom bikes with a clean aesthetic.
With a 39–49 mm reach, the BRS100 is designed for frames built for short-reach road brakes. If you’re unsure which reach you need, measure from the center of the brake bolt hole in the brake bridge to the center of the rim’s braking surface. If the measurement is within 39–49 mm, the brake is within the right range.
The dual-pivot design provides good stopping power and a clear feel at the brake lever, while the quick-release feature makes it easier to remove and reinstall the rear wheel. The brake arms are made from cold-forged aluminum, and Dia-Compe 101 brake pads are included.
