The Dia-Compe Dirt Harry is a BMX-inspired brake lever for the left side (typically the front brake). As the name suggests, the lever is designed for dirt jump bikes with its double-bent arm; if you don’t have one of those, it’s still fine to use it on other types of bikes. It clamps onto standard 25.4 mm or 22.2 mm handlebars with the included shim. The hinge mechanism makes installation very easy since you can leave the lever and any gear shifters in place.
