Dia-Compe Gold Finger is a compact one-finger brake lever for fixed gear, single speed, BMX, and other bike builds where you want an efficient brake control without filling the handlebars with unnecessary components. Its short shape provides a clean cockpit and makes the Gold Finger especially popular on fixed-gear bikes with only a front brake.
The brake lever and clamp are made of forged aluminum. The hinged clamp makes installation easy without removing the grips or other components from the handlebars, and the reach can be adjusted with a 2 mm hex key. This is the left-hand version in silver, normally used for the front brake.
Gold Finger is a short-pull brake lever and is compatible with traditional road brakes, cantilever brakes, and U-brakes. It should not be used with standard V-brakes that require long pull. The clamp is 25.4 mm, and a shim for mounting on 22.2 mm handlebars is included.
