Dia-Compe Track Hub Locknuts are axle nuts for Dia-Compe track hubs and fixed-gear wheels with solid axles. The nuts are used to secure the wheel in the frame or fork dropouts and are a small but important spare part when the original nuts are worn, damaged, or lost.
Front and rear hubs use different dimensions. M9 is for front hubs and M10 for rear hubs, so choose the variant according to which axle the nut will be fitted to. Dia-Compe uses these dimensions on its classic track hubs, including those in the Gran Compe series.
Despite the product name, these are not a lockring for a fixed-gear sprocket, but wheel nuts for the hub axle. Always check the threading on your existing hub axle before purchase if the nuts are to be used on a hub from another manufacturer.
