For many, the Genesis Croix de Fer 20 Flat Bar is the ultimate commuter bike. You get the dependable steel frame of the Croix de Fer platform, wide tires, and the option to fit mudguards and racks—but with a flat bar that makes the bike more relaxed, easy to control, and a natural choice for everyday riding.
The flat-bar format provides good visibility in traffic and stable control at lower speeds, but this is still a true Croix de Fer. Shimano CUES 1x11 with a 42T chainring and an 11–45T cassette provides a wide gear range, while hydraulic Shimano MT200 disc brakes and 45 mm Maxxis Reaver tires deliver confident braking, grip, and comfort on asphalt, gravel roads, and winter rides.

Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
