The Genesis Tour de Fer 40 is built for early mornings with full bags, long days on unknown roads, and the feeling that everything you need actually fits on the bike.
This is Genesis' most dedicated touring bike. It is designed to carry luggage, roll steadily, and feel secure when the trip lasts longer than planned. Front and rear racks, dynamo lighting, and wide touring tires make it feel ready for real use right from the start.
The Reynolds 725 steel frame gives the bike a calm and responsive feel that suits many hours in the saddle. Shimano Claris 2x10 provides a practical gear range for climbs, transport stretches, and cycling with panniers, while the mechanical disc brakes are easy to live with and simpler to adjust if something needs tuning along the way.

Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
