Genesis Vagabond (Gary Bluman) Frames

The Genesis Vagabond is one of those frames that looks different depending on who’s looking. Some see a road-focused monstercross with drop bars and big tires, while others see a 29er with low gearing and bags for multi-day trips. That’s exactly why we’ve sold several Vagabond framesets - the frame doesn’t lock you into a preconceived build.

The Genesis Mjolnir CrMo steel frame pairs with a rigid steel fork and clearance for tires up to 2.35 inches. Sizes XS and S are built around 27.5-inch wheels, while M, L, and XL use 29-inch wheels. 12 x 100 mm front and 12 x 148 mm rear thru-axles make room for modern wheels and provide a stable foundation for gravel, monstercross, and bikepacking.

The Vagabond has a T47 threaded bottom bracket, mounts for luggage, and internal cable routing for dynamo lighting. The frame is also compatible with a suspension fork with 40 mm of travel if you want to take the build even further off-road.

Choose the Genesis Vagabond if you want to build your own steel gravel, monstercross, or bikepacking bike and prefer a frame that leaves room for personal ideas - even builds others might never have imagined. Get in touch if you’d like help with sizing, wheels, or components for your custom build.
