Genetic Heritage II is a sleek and classic 27.2 mm seatpost with a simple single-bolt clamp and 17.5 mm setback. The 3D-forged 6061 aluminum construction creates a clean look that works equally well on road, touring, and gravel bikes, as well as on a more classic steel build.
Heritage II has slightly less setback than many traditional seatposts. The 17.5 mm setback often works well with frames featuring a somewhat slacker seat tube angle of around 72°, but the correct saddle position always depends on both the frame geometry and your anatomy. The saddle position should primarily be set according to your knee and pedaling position—not used to shorten the reach to the handlebars.
If you need a shorter reach, it is better to adjust the stem length and, if necessary, the handlebar height. A small detail, but an important one for achieving a riding position that remains comfortable even after many hours in the saddle.

Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
