There is a high chance that you will be surprised by the routes in this book. Using tractor tracks, forgotten forest roads, and paths, the authors have created something many did not believe existed – wonderful gravel rides just outside Stockholm!
The book describes 28 rides totaling 1370 kilometers of cycling. All rides can be completed in a day from central Stockholm. Some loops are found in a nearby green area while others require you to catch a commuter train or take the bikes by car.
The book’s routes focus on adventure and nature experience and are perfect for a gravel bike with slightly wider tires. The rides may include short stretches of easier trail between two gravel roads. You might also have to carry the bike at a single occasion, but you will always return home with a big smile.
The three authors have completely different backgrounds. Michael O’Dwyer is a goldsmith, Björn Melin is a tinsmith, and Olle Wahlquist develops satellite engines. They are united by a strong spirit of discovery and a drive to spread cycling joy to others.

Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
