Gusset Lofty XXL is an extra-long seatpost in 27.2 mm with a full 450 mm length. It’s a model we’ve sold many of over the years, often to customers who simply need a longer seatpost than standard—and that’s exactly where the Lofty XXL gets the job done.
The post is made from 6061 aluminum and has a micro-adjustable two-bolt saddle cradle, making it easy to set the saddle to the correct angle and keep it securely in place. The extra length provides plenty of adjustment range, and if you don’t need the full 450 mm, the post can be cut to your desired length.
The Lofty XXL isn’t built for weight savings. This is a robust, proven solution for anyone looking for a long or extra-long 27.2 mm seatpost who needs more reach than a standard post can offer.

Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
