We brought in the Lezyne Steel Floor Drive for the same reason we use it in our own workshop: it stands firmly, grips the valve securely, and is built without the flimsy plastic parts that often fail on simpler floor pumps. Our unit has been used daily since spring 2014.
The pump features a steel cylinder and piston, a machined aluminum base, and a lacquered wooden handle. The large analog gauge is easy to read, and with a maximum pressure of 220 psi or 15.2 bar, the Steel Floor Drive also works well for narrow road tires with high air pressure.
The reversible ABS-1 Pro pump head fits both Presta and Schrader valves, also known as road bike and car valves. The pump head screws onto the valve, providing a tight connection and reducing the risk of it coming loose while you pump.
The 130 cm long hose makes it easy to reach the valve even when the bike is in a work stand. The Steel Floor Drive isn’t the lightest floor pump to carry around, but that’s not the point. This is a sturdy floor pump for regular use at home or in the workshop.

Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
