MKS Aurora are stylish, well-made platform pedals with an unusually large 92 x 95 mm riding surface. Despite their size, the pair weighs only about 344 grams, making the Aurora a great choice for city, touring, and other bikes where you want both foot support and low weight.
The wave-shaped aluminum plate is more than just a design detail. Its concave shape and strategically placed raised sections provide good grip against your shoe without the need for aggressive pins. The result is a comfortable pedal that works just as well in the city as it does on gravel and light off-road rides.
Like most MKS pedals, the Aurora uses serviceable cup-and-cone bearings. Replacement parts are available for the bearing assembly, so the pedals can be cleaned, lubricated, and adjusted instead of replaced when the bearings start to run rough. Made by MKS in Japan.
