The Nitto B840AA is a wide 720 mm handlebar for riders who want the control of a modern riser bar, but with a lower, straighter profile. With 21 mm of rise and 8° of backsweep, it’s especially well suited to fixed gear, single speed, city bikes, and custom builds where you want a wide bar without raising your hands too high.
The relatively low rise keeps the front of the bike clean and direct, while the backsweep angles the grips slightly backward for a more natural hand position than a completely straight flat bar. At approximately 298 grams, the B840AA is also noticeably lighter than many heavier riser bars.
Made in Japan from heat-treated aluminum, the bar has a modern 31.8 mm clamp diameter and a standard 22.2 mm diameter for grips, brake levers, and controls. A great choice if you’re looking for a wide black Nitto bar with low rise, low weight, and proven Japanese quality.
