Pelago Outback Bar is a 640 mm-wide handlebar with a comfortable backsweep, from our neighbors in Finland. With a 25.4 mm clamp diameter, it is particularly well suited to older bikes and builds with quill stems, where drop bars give you a sportier riding position than you actually want. Switch to an Outback Bar and your back will thank you.
The handlebar has a 25 mm rise and a shape that provides a relaxed yet controlled position, with plenty of room for grips, brake levers, shifters, and a bell. It works well on everything from older touring bikes and city bikes to more personal commuter and custom builds.
The Outback Bar is made of aluminum and uses the standard 22.2 mm diameter at the grips and controls. A great option if you are looking for a black bicycle handlebar with backsweep and a classic 25.4 mm stem clamp diameter.

Consultation meeting
At the first step in the process, we would like to discuss with you what kind of bicycle you are looking for, and what budget you have. It is best if we arrange a meeting for this, either in the shop or online.
Quote
After a paid deposit or purchase of a frame set, we send you a detailed quote. At this stage, there is still every opportunity to adjust the choice of parts.
The bicycle is assembled
Now things are starting to happen! The quote is finalized. We order components and put everything together ahead of the build. Depending on your choice of parts, it takes different amounts of time to assemble the bike, but two weeks from approved quote is usually enough.
The bicycle is ready for delivery
You are welcome to collect your custom bicycle. We also offer shipping to all corners of the world. From our initial meeting, we have taken your measurements so that you sit correctly on the bicycle. Before handing it over, we make small adjustments together with you and, if desired, go through how to adjust and take care of the bicycle. Happy riding! =)
